Dr. Sheila Alizadeh, PharmD, is the Co-Founder, Director of Pharmacy Operations, and Pharmacist in Charge of Blue Door Pharmacies, LLC and Shady Grove Pharmacy. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, she brings more than 25 years of experience spanning retail pharmacy, pharmaceutical research, biotechnology, and advanced compounding.
Under Dr. Alizadeh’s leadership, Shady Grove Pharmacy has evolved from a neighborhood independent pharmacy into a nationally recognized compounding pharmacy serving patients, physicians, and medical practices across the country. Today, prescribers in dozens of states rely on her expertise to develop customized treatment solutions for complex and patient-specific needs.
A recognized innovator in pharmaceutical compounding, Dr. Alizadeh has developed numerous proprietary formulations, including Pediatric Dilute Atropine Eye Drops, Beauty Butter, Copper Peptide Cream, and advanced NAD-based therapies. She is also the inventor and patent holder of a proprietary topical NAD cream formulation and continues to lead the development of novel compounded medications focused on wellness, longevity, dermatology, and women’s health.
As Pharmacist in Charge and Director of Pharmacy Operations, Dr. Alizadeh oversees all pharmacy operations, quality assurance programs, staff training, and regulatory compliance. She is responsible for ensuring adherence to all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations, including USP <797> standards governing sterile compounding.
Prior to founding Blue Door Pharmacies, Dr. Alizadeh served in medical affairs and scientific leadership roles with major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including Novartis and Amylin Pharmaceuticals. These experiences continue to inform her collaborative approach to working with physicians, researchers, and healthcare innovators.
